Almost 3D - Gay Art Male Art by Michael Taggart Photography

I’ve been working on a subtle shading that makes a model pop out from the background and look 3-Dimensional. I think it worked!

I dreamed of a Merman

With fins and tail instead of legs

I woke up without my Merman

Floating in my bed.

Working on the flower pictures has got me thinking in different ways about what we see.

Just running an experiment on Focus – and what better model to use than Vance!

Nothing but Blue Skies - Gay Art Male Art by Michael Taggart Photography

I usually shoot in the studio but I thought it would be fun to shoot outside for a warmup. This turned out pretty good but it was lot more work than what I thought it would be!

I’m used to the studio environment where it’s much easier to remove a model from the background. In this case there was a lot of distracting piped behind him that were removed. I didn’t want to extract him and the fence so I had to leave the sky as it was.

Still – not to bad.
